CU Correspondent
A free online information session on graduate studies in Türkiye — covering scholarships, student life and career prospects; will be held on May 1 at 9 PM (Bangladesh time) via Zoom. The session is organised by the Türkiye-Bangladesh Students Network.
Current and former students from several Turkish universities will speak at the event. The speakers include Dr. Momin, former assistant professor at Atatürk University; Md Asif Kamal from Sabancı University; Tahsin Mahmud from Koç University; Rimon Ahmed from Ibn Haldun University; Ashfaque Uddin from Bilkent University and MD Miraj Arefin from Middle East Technical University. Golam Mostofa of Koç University will moderate the session.
Topics to be discussed include the Turkish Government Scholarship (Türkiye Bursları), university-specific scholarships at Koç, Sabancı, Bilkent and Ibn Haldun, self-funding options, student life in Türkiye and career opportunities after graduation.
The session is supported by the Bangladesh Association of Students in Türkiye (BASAT), Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU), Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JUCSU), Chittagong University Central Students’ Union (CUCSU), KUET Radio and IUT ABSSS.
