Roman Rahman named president, Sobuj general secretary
Bangladesh Student Rights Council has announced a partial committee for its Chittagong University branch for a one-year term.
The committee was approved on May 4, 2026, according to a press release issued by the organization.
The approved leadership includes Mohammad Roman Rahman as president, Mohammad Maruf Khan as vice president, and Mohammad Sobuj as general secretary.
Kazi Belal Hossain will serve as joint general secretary, while Mohammad Mojahidullah takes the role of organizing secretary.
Other key positions include Shahriar Munim Sabit as office secretary, Raihan Abdullah as publicity secretary, Mehedi Hasan as finance secretary, and Lamia Akter Mim as female affairs secretary.
The organization has instructed the committee to complete its full formation within the next one month.
The committee was approved by Nazmul Hasan, president of Bangladesh Student Rights Council, and Sanaullah, General secretary of the organization.
