31 new students formally inducted at library auditorium
The Pabna District Student Association of Chittagong University organised a freshers’ welcome and farewell ceremony for outgoing students on Saturday.
The event was held at the University Library Auditorium on May 9 at around 10:00am. A total of 31 new students were formally welcomed at the programme.
The event was conducted by former president Nobin and presided over by Fatin Labib Sunam.
General Secretary Md Monirul Islam delivered the welcome address.
Guests present at the event included Sharif Mahmud Siddiqui, Deputy Registrar of Jamal Nazrul Islam Mathematics and Physical Science Research Centre at CU, Monjed Ali Shanto, Assistant Manager at Eastern Refinery PSL, Shah Amanat Hall VP Jahangir Alam, and several others.
The programme concluded with a closing speech by President Sunam.
The association, which represents students from Pabna district studying at Chittagong University, organised the event to formally welcome students from the new academic session while bidding farewell to the graduating batch of 2019-2020.
