The Chittagong University Band Society (CUBS) has officially announced its Executive Committee for the 2026-27 tenure, ushering in a new leadership phase aimed at enriching the campus band music scene.
The newly formed committee is led by Utsho Das as President and Tahmid Nahian as General Secretary. The key leadership lineup also includes Mahian Samit Epshit and Darda Nishan as Vice Presidents, alongside Tazwar Ismail and Yaseer Ramit serving as Joint Secretaries.
According to an official announcement from the organization, the new executive body intends to uphold the legacy of CUBS while fostering a more inclusive, disciplined, and vibrant musical environment at the university. The leadership team will oversee and expand club operations spanning live performance, event and band management, media and documentation, and broader creative initiatives.
The committee emphasized that its primary focus for the upcoming session will be nurturing emerging campus musicians, encouraging collaborative projects, and preserving the camaraderie and fraternity central to the university’s musical culture. Working under the organization’s established framework, the 2026-27 executive body aims to create broader platforms for new talent and creative expressions across the campus over the next year.
