Ibrahim Roni, Parvez to lead 16-member secretariat
Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, Chittagong University has announced its full committee for 2026, completing the leadership structure with a 16-member secretariat.
Ibrahim Roni was previously announced as president and Md Parvez as general secretary of the organisation’s Chittagong University unit.
The secretariat, announced on May 17, 2026, includes Shariful Islam as human resources management and social service secretary, Rabiul Islam as office and planning secretary, Md Ishaq Bhuiyan as Baytulmal and student welfare secretary, Sayed Bin Habib as international and human rights secretary, and Monayem Sharif as student rights secretary.
Murad Hasan will serve as IT and science secretary, Hares Matabbar as literature, cultural and public relations secretary, Obaidul Salman as skill development and business education secretary, and Saikat Hossain as HRD and library secretary.
Niamat Ullah Farabi takes on the role of law, foundation and madrasa secretary, Sazzat Hossain Munna as education secretary, Wahidul Islam as sports secretary, Mehedi Hasan Sohan as publicity secretary, Rabiul Islam as research secretary, Mosharraf Hossain Sohad as school and college programmes secretary, and Riyad Hossain as dawah and publications secretary.
