A discussion meeting titled “Global Zionist Aggression and Responsibilities of Humanitarians” was held to celebrate the 6th International Quds Week. The meeting took place on Monday (February 3) at 2 PM in the Central Library Auditorium of Chittagong University, attended by CUCSU leaders and students from various departments.
Chittagong University Central Students’ Union (CUCSU) VP Ibrahim Hossain Rony delivered the welcome speech. CUCSU Student Welfare Secretary Nahima Akhter Dipa gave the felicitation speech.
Professor Dr. Muhammad Giyas Uddin Talukder, Chairman of the Arabic Department at Chittagong University, was present as the chief discussant. He said, “Zionist Jews are cursed, and we constantly curse them through Surah Fatiha.”
Associate Professor Mohammad Mojammel Haque from the Philosophy Department spoke as a special discussant. He highlighted various condemnable acts of Zionists and advised on the responsibilities of humanitarians.
Associate Professor Saeed Ahsan Khalid from the Law Department said, “Zionist Jews are continuously committing crimes against humanity. They are not respecting any laws of the world, which is an extreme transgression.” He concluded by expressing hope for Palestine’s liberation.
Other speakers included Muhaimunul Hasan Riyad, Bangladesh Coordinator of the Palestine Ulama Council, and writer and editor Monjurul Haque.
CUCSU Assistant Literature and Culture Secretary Jihad Ahnaf performed a song about Palestine to enliven the program. The event was moderated by CUCSU Research and Innovation Secretary Tanvir Anjum Shobon and Tepantar Sahitya Sabha General Secretary Muhammad Riyad Uddin.
