Jalal Siddiqui, Joint General Secretary of CU Chatra Dal, distributed Eid gifts among underprivileged orphan children, street children and children of cleaning workers at Chittagong University (CU) campus. T-shirts, punjabis, shirts and pants were distributed among children at the CU Railway Station.
Also present were CU Chatra Dal Vice President Md. Nesar Uddin, Joint General Secretary Sahab Uddin, Assistant Drama Secretary and Rashid Chowdhury Hostel’s Health and Housing Secretary Jamil Hossain and Chatra Dal workers Shimul and Prattay Barua.
Jalal Siddiqui said, “This initiative is mainly to pray for the soul of Begum Khaleda Zia and to spread the joy of Eid among campus-related orphan children, children of cleaning workers and underprivileged children.”
Notably, the gifts were distributed through a joint initiative of Jalal Siddiqui and 1-Takai Shikkha.
