Leader pledges support for specially-abled students
Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal organised an iftar programme for students with disabilities studying at Chittagong University on Thursday.
The iftar gathering was held in front of the CU Central Library on February 20. Students with special needs from various departments and institutes of the university participated in the event, which was organised by Sajjad Hossain Hridoy, organisational secretary of the campus branch. Leaders and activists of Chhatra Dal were present at the event.
Organisational Secretary Sajjad Hossain Hridoy said, “Students with disabilities are assets to our society and state. They are studying at Chittagong University, competing with hundreds of thousands of students. Today’s iftar programme is not just a formality, but to give the message that Chhatra Dal will stand by students with disabilities in all their needs.”
The programme reflected the organisation’s commitment to inclusivity and highlighted the importance of supporting students with disabilities in their academic journey and beyond.
