Chittagong University Debating Society (CUDS) has won the championship at the 1st CoUDS National Debate Festival 2026, organized for the first time by Cumilla University Debating Society (CoUDS).
CUDS emerged victorious among 32 participating teams from across the country.
The university-level final debate was held on Saturday (April 18) at 6:00pm at the open stage of Cumilla University. The final competition took place between Jahangir Nagar University Debating Organization and Chittagong University Debating Society on the motion “This parliament believes that cancel culture on social media is contrary to freedom of expression.”
Chittagong University Debating Society won the championship.
Erfan Khan of the winning team was selected as the best speaker of the final round and also named the best debater of the tournament.
